Buckingham St
A dilapidated milk bar situated along a lane way has been transformed into an urban renewal development which takes advantage of its interface with the urban context. The original Victorian shop was retained and stripped back to its bare bones revealing the layers of history on its brickwork, whilst the new addition of four compact townhouses have been dressed in burnished brick with a pixelated pattern work on its façade and a strong horizontal delineation across its openings.
