It has been an amazing design awards season, and we cap it off with the most recent announcement that Fishharven has been shortlisted for the #housesawards New House over 200sqm.
Fishharven sits on the hilltop of rural Fishcreek with breathtaking views towards Wilson Promontory and Corner Inlet. Inspired by the vernacular outbuildings in the farmland, the project reads as a series of corrugated iron gables nestled in the bushland and configured to capture views of the surrounding landscape.

Warm, natural tones with an emphasis on texture and detailed craftsmanship define the interior palette for this weekend retreat. Fisharven reinterprets traditional rural materials in a refined and contemporary way, demonstrating a nuanced approach to regional interior architecture.

The Ardmillan House
This project is a true showcase of our commitment to timeless craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
Featuring heritage red sandstock bricks, paired with matching mortar and a striking hit and miss brick wall. Every material was carefully selected to compliment its surroundings, while the refined architectural details highlight the care and expertise that went into bringing this vision to life.

This striking residential facade in Camberwell, Victoria is clad in Ever Art Wood timber look aluminium battens.
Modern, minimalist, and comfortable amongst the native Australian landscaping, the timber look batten screening sits off the structure creating depth, and mirrors the silhouette of the property. A 2 part section, Kabebari battens are simply screwed and snapped together to create a finished batten look. As a result, all fixings are concealed, resulting in a dimensionally perfect, uninterrupted linear aesthetic. The batten detailing continues through to the entrance, with perfectly mitred corners adjoining the facade to a batten covered entry.

Butterfly House by Neil Architecture. Story 1 of 3
Butterfly house acts like a sanctum, gently cocooning its occupants while opening generously to the landscape and creating courtyards between the new and old volumes. A consistent material palette runs throughout the garden and within, achieving a sublime connectedness. Pivotal to this is the use of our Technifirma Lido across walls and floors, inside and outside. Engineered from porcelain, the robust tiles emulate the texture, creamy warmth and soft marbling of travertine.
