Swan St

• Sitting amongst typically Richmond shop fronts, Mary Bell is part of a new wave of Swan St urban regeneration. Replacing an old single storey shop front, Mary Bell introduces a mixed use development model comprised of 6 single bedroom apartments sitting above a street facing shop.

  A new contemporary façade is inserted into the streetscape, taking cues from the surrounding colour, scale and rhythm. The building balances providing new activation of the streetscape through a highly transparent shopfront and recessed upper level balconies, while also providing a level of privacy for the apartment residents.
